I have a really hard time finding the right genre when uploading an album on iTunes, Spotify, and the like. You always have to specify. Essentially, it's pop. Whether you take a rap banger like "Geister," "The Criminal," or "Bert" as an example, they all have a pop feel. Or let's say "Erinnert Euch" and "Verliebt." Pure reggae, with a touch of mainstream. A friend of mine who works as a journalist for a local newspaper once wrote something great:

"Homemade, urban, rousing German pop hop with soul, funk, rap, and reggae influences. Known from shows like Starmania and X-Faktor, among others. Danceable songs that get under your skin like a tattoo. Music reminiscent of Seeed, Clueso, Beginner, or Rakede, but not copied. That's pretty cool. I was incredibly happy and honored. From then on, I used it for recruiting at festivals, etc. And I can confirm what the gentleman wrote. HEHEHEHE

I'd like to proudly note that 80 percent of my songs, over 50 in total, are self-produced. The same applies to my music videos. Editing and post-production are all done by me. As is the management. Or this website. I'm not fishing for compliments here; I just want to get money out of you.
